Holocaust Memorial Observance 2026: United Nations

The United Nations Headquarters observance on the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust took place on January 27, 2026 under the theme “Holocaust Remembrance for Dignity and Human Rights”. Ms. Melissa Fleming, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications hosted the proceedings. The observance featured Holocaust survivors sharing their testimonies, and official remarks by the Secretary-General, the President of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and Representatives of the Permanent Missions of Israel and the United States to the United Nations.
